AQ-1000 Arc Quenching Device (LV)
21-11-2024
AQ1000
• Minimizes Arc fault Energy • Maximize personnel safety • Minimizes downtime and equipment damage.
The quenching device is installed close to the incomer. The device is securely bolted to the busbar. AQ-100 Arc flash protection system is installed conventionally, with an additional fiber-optic signal to the AQ 1000. The AQ 100 system detects the current & light, and triggers the AQ-1000 through the fiber-optic cable instantaneously.
Objective of this unparalleled Quenching device:
• To achieve Category 1 Arc Energy Class (IEEE 1584) • Old switchgear with low or no arc class • No pressure ventilation available / possible • To maximize personnel safety • To minimize downtime and equipment damage
